DROSSBACH succeeded to develop a die head which allows 4 different material layers in the corrugated pipe
This die head is suitable for the corrugators HD 500, HD 800 and HD 1200 and allows a production from ID 150 to ID 500 mm / 6" to 20". Die heads for further diameters available on request.
If allowed according to standards hence it is possible to produce a corrugated plastic pipe made of recycled material while the outer layer is made of very thin high quality material. This could save a lot of material costs. Also it is possible to save the expensive masterbatch, as only a very thin outer layer has to be done in color.
